About Ferry County
Ferry County is located in the northeast of Washington state. While it's among the largest in land mass, it has one of the smallest populations. In fact, according to the last census, there are less than 7600 people in Ferry County.
Presently there's less than 20% privately owned land in the county with the majority of land being held by the National Forest, Bureau of Land Management and Department of Natural Resources. So, unless the state or federal government decides to sell their holdings, it's likely to remain as pristine as it was 100 years ago.
Outdoor Lifestyle
Ferry County has little infrastructure with no malls nor fast food restaurants. On the contrary, there are many lakes and streams with clear, crisp water that make it a world-class fishing destination. There's a wide variety of parks, resorts, small airstrips, and recreational areas in which to enjoy all four seasons.
